Last year in 2025, I lost 10K euro to what was probably a scam team while trying to build an app for my daily life called My 2nd AI Brain.

Because of that, I put everything in me into learning to build apps and websites myself from now on.

But I kept failing. I spent hours, days, and months on a path where I never got further than lost time, no monetized apps, and nothing tangible to bring to companies. It was truly painful.

It became a very lonely fight, an extreme search for someone who wanted to make the difference. Someone who believed in me instead of asking for upfront money immediately.

Someone who dares first and later sees that our collaboration can be truly valuable. I have a lot of motivation, and the concept of working together inside the IDE can absolutely lead to success, revenue, and renewed belief in someone's thinking power.

A year ago, I realized something about myself.

I'm good at coming up with software ideas.

I love thinking about products, user experiences, workflows, automations, and digital concepts. AI made it possible for me to turn those ideas into prototypes and even working applications.

But every single time, I hit the same wall.

No matter which AI tools I tried, there always came a point where I couldn't move forward on my own. Technical challenges, architecture, debugging, deployment, and the countless details that separate an idea from a real product kept stopping me.

I wasn't looking for a freelancer.

I wasn't looking for an employee.

I was looking for a partner.

Someone to build with.

Someone I could brainstorm with, share my screen with, solve problems with, and spend countless hours creating products together. Someone who believed in building something meaningful as much as I did.

Finding that person turned out to be far harder than building the product itself.

That realization was painful.

There were moments of frustration, discouragement, and even hopelessness. I genuinely started wondering if I would ever find the right technical partner. Not because talented developers don't exist, but because there simply wasn't a place designed to help people like us find each other.

That's why I created BuildMate.

Not to replace developers.

Not to replace founders.

But to help them find each other.

I believe there are thousands of founders with great ideas who feel stuck because they don't have the right technical partner. At the same time, I believe there are thousands of talented developers who are tired of building someone else's vision and would rather create something meaningful with an equal partner.

BuildMate exists to bring those people together.

My hope is simple.

I hope this platform reaches founders who are about to give up on their ideas because they don't have the budget to hire a team.

I hope it reaches developers who dream of building products they can truly call their own.

And more than anything, I hope that no one has to go through the same feeling of being stuck, alone, and convinced that the right partner simply doesn't exist.
